Bus times change frequently and are constantly being updated, but all bus companies keep a similar schedule toward Ambato. From Cuenca to Baños, there is only one direct bus so far and the bus company is called Amazonas. It makes three trips daily: one in the morning, one in the evening, and one overnight trip. It takes about 8 hours to get to Baños directly, and it should cost $10.
